Natalie Blake competed in the Miss Kentucky 2008 Pageant as Miss East Kentucky.
It's been a busy year for Natalie.
She
recently completed her training in the U.S. Naval Reserves and competed and won the Miss East Kentucky title before returned
to college.
While receiving her training, base officials urged Natalie to try out for the "Nashville Star"
talent search, the country music version of "American Idol". Natalie advanced to the second round of auditions for
the sponsored by the U.S. Navy for a chance to try our for the show.
Natalie studied pageantry and singing at STUDIO G in Harrodsburg.
She
is a graduate of Mercer County High School and attends the University of Kentucky, majoring in Psychology.
Natalie is a member of the
active naval reserves.
