Congratulations to Maria Montgormer, "Miss Kentucky USA 2009".

Maria competed in April at the "Miss USA Pageant" in Los Vegas.   She won Fourth Runner-Up.

In 2008 Maria Montgomery was also crowned “Miss Kentucky County Fair” at the Annual Convention of the Kentucky Association of Fairs and Horse Shows in Louisville.   After winning the "Kentucky County Fair" title Maria wrote to Goldie, 

"Goldie, Thank you so…I still remember you coaching me before my very first pageant. I still use those steps... You helped tremendously for what has been accomplished so far."

Maria is the 19 year old daughter of Gary and Susan Hale Montgomery of Danville Ky.
