Goldie Goldsmith-Vigneri teaches voice and performance at Studio 6, the Performing Arts place in Harrodsburg, KY. Her clients range from the very young to seniors.
Goldie specializes in bringing the shy singer into the “spotlight.” As a result of her teaching, many of her clients now work professionally, and a large number have won major competitions. Her clients perform regularly on the Jamboree circuit and with local bands as well as singing at events and venues in Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee.
But she doesn’t restrict her clients to studying singing. Anyone interested in getting up in front of people and giving a report or speech, competing in a pageant or becoming a stand-up comic or actor is welcome to study and perfect their talent with her.
Goldie stresses confidence, poise and stage presence tailoring the instruction method to the needs and interest of her clients.
Her clients appear in commercials for local, regional and national advertisers as well as in roles in stage and screen productions.
They compete successfully in Pageants winning in all divisions of the Kentucky State Fair Pageants, and in the Miss Kentucky Outstanding Teen and Miss Kentucky Preliminary Pageants. Miss Kentucky’s Outstanding Teen 2015, Kennedy Sabharwal studied voice and pageantry with Goldie.
Goldie produces and directs many types of productions from television and radio shows, revues, fashion shows to pageants.
Goldie can be heard weekly on the radio show, “What’s Happening, Goldie” which she produces. The show is recorded at STUDIO G.
She produces “A Kid’s View” a series of short videos which can be seen on GVETV.com, a web channel developed by Goldie and Tom Vigneri also of STUDIO G.
She produced and directed “Frontier Tales” a historical play about the settlement of Kentucky and a fashion show to introduce Richard Simmons’ new line of clothing to Central Kentucky. She was also the Executive Director of the “America Now Pageants” and the “Miss Holiday Kentucky Pageant”.
Goldie is an accomplished performer in her own right. She Sings, performs Stand-Up Comedy and Improv. She appears regularly at STUDIO G and has appeared at “Comedy Off Broadway” in Lexington, KY. She also played the female lead in “Frontier Tales”.
Goldie studied voice under Ron Browning, a Nashville based vocal coach, whose clients include Alison Krauss, Wynonna Judd and Patti LaBelle, to name a few. She trained as a model in Los Angeles and learned Pageantry in New York under Ruth Tolman, founder of the World Modeling Association and author.
Before opening her own company, she worked in advertising. She organized and headed the Talent Division for “Showcase Productions”, a production company based in Lexington, KY. She recruited, developed and cast talent for print and broadcast advertising. She also produced and co-wrote “ICW Wrestling’, a television program syndicated, by “Showcase Productions” for wrestler “Macho Man” Randy Savage.Goldie is active in her community. She promotes activities and events which bring people to downtown Harrodsburg. She sits on the board of “Harrodsburg First, a Main Street Program”. She also was a board member of “Fort Harrod Drama Productions”
