For over two decades, this exciting 35 minute interactive play has depicted the
settlement of Kentucky as seen through the eyes of various characters, through
original narratives, folk tales and songs to thousands of Kentucky students. It’s a
unique and fun way for your students to learn about Kentucky’s settlement.

Our professional performers present a wonderful cross-section of Kentucky
pioneers. The lively movement and songs will delight you and your students. Your
students are entertained while they learn about Kentucky’s settlement.

Let us tell you how your students can enjoy “Frontier Tales”.

OPTION 1: “Frontier Tales” has been moved to a new location on Main Street. You
can attend “Frontier Tales” and then take a short trip to tour Old Fort Harrod State
Park (during the Spring & Summer when Fort tours are offered). The fee for this
Option is $7.00 per person. This includes admission to the play and the Fort. We
will book your tour with the Fort.

OPTION 2: Another way your students can enjoy the production is to let us bring
“Frontier Tales” to your school. The fee for this Option is $500 for one performance
no matter how many students attend the performance. (Plus Travel Expenses)

OPTION 3: If you are not interested in a play but wish to bring history into your
classroom, book a “History Alive!” character to come to your classroom. “History
Alive!” brings an actual figure, such as Daniel Boone, Simon Kenton or Jim Harrod,
into you classroom to discuss on a personal level what the settlement of Kentucky
was like. The length of a “History Alive!” program is approximately one hour and
includes a question and answer period. It cost $350 per character.

ABOUT OUR CAST:

Tim Prosser has starred in “Frontier Tales” for fourteen years. He is a professional
actor and musician who also appeared in “Legend of Daniel Boone” and “Daniel
Boone: The Man and the Legend”.

Tim White has starred in “Frontier Tales” for four seasons. He is active in the local
theater and is an accomplished stage make-up artist.

Goldie Goldsmith-Vigneri has directed “Frontier Tales” for the past 6 years. She
appeared in the play in the mid-90’s rejoined the cast last year.
